Install FTB Essentials on your Minecraft Server
FTB Essentials is a mod that enhances the overall experience for Minecraft servers running on the Forge mod platform. It provides essential tools and features, such as home settings, warps, and server-side utilities, which are crucial for server administration and player convenience. This guide will walk you through installing FTB Essentials on your Minecraft server hosted by UltraServers. Let’s get started!
Confirm Server Version
- Ensure your Minecraft server runs Neoforge, Forge or Fabric.
- Neoforge is recommended, as all three mods are available for this server type.
Download FTB Essentials
- Visit the FTB Essentials, FTB Library, and Architectury API pages on CurseForge. Download the latest version that is compatible with your server’s Minecraft version.
Access Server Files
- You can access your server files using the Files tab on the left-hand navigation bar.
- Your server files can also be accessed via SFTP. For instructions, see SFTP Transfer.
Upload FTB Essentials Mod
- 1 Navigate to the
modsfolder in your server directory. If there is nomodsfolder, create one. - Click the 2 Upload button.
- 3 Select the downloaded FTB Essentials, FTB Library, and the Architecture API
.jarfiles. - Click the 4 Open button to upload the
.jarfiles to themodsfolder.
Restart the Server
- After successfully uploading the mod files, restart your Minecraft server to apply the changes.
Verify Installation
- Once your server has restarted, check if FTB Essentials is working.
- You can do this by using some of the mod's commands, like
/sethomeor/warp. /helpwill return a list of all the possible commands, including everything FTB Essentials adds.
