Player Manager
This guide will show you how to manage your players through our player-manager tool. Please note that, for the educational purpose of the guide, we will be using “offline mode” to demonstrate what the tool looks like with many players. We do not support using offline mode to break Minecraft’s EULA.
Access Panel
- Login to the panel. See Access the Panel for instructions.
- Click on the Server you want to manage.
Navigate to Player Manager
- Click the Player Manager tab.
- You will notice the following features:
- Currently playing shows you every online player.
- Player management lets you manage players in multiple ways. In this case, it’ll let you Op (give someone admin permissions), whitelist (to join the server if whitelist is enabled), ban (prevent a user from joining), and review Offline users (the people who joined before).
- This guide will cover each operation extensively.
Operator Management
Currently Playing Method
- If the player is online, you can use the currently playing section.
- Locate the player in question and click the three dots.
- You will be greeted with many options. In this case, we want the player to be the operator, so click the Op player button.
- This will ask for confirmation, as giving a player Operator is something you should carefully consider. If you are sure, click the Confirm button.
Player Management Method
- Alternatively, you can use the Player management method.
- Click the + button.
- You will be prompted with a UI asking for the player’s username. Input the name, then press the Op player button.
- Congratulations. Your player has now been given the status of Operator. They will appear in the list as Operators. If, for whatever reason, you wish to remove their status. You can do so by clicking the three dots and the Revoke Operator button.
Whitelist Management
Currently Playing Method
- If the player is online, you can use the Currently playing section.
- Locate the player in question and click the three dots.
- You will be greeted with many options. In this case, we want the player to be whitelisted, so click the Whitelist button.
- The player has been whitelisted. If you ever change your mind, you can use the same method to remove their whitelist privilege, as shown below.
Player Management Method
- Alternatively, you can use the Player management method.
- Click the 1 Whitelisted button.
- 2 Enable whitelist if your whitelist is disabled.
- Click the 3 + button.
- You will be prompted with a UI asking for the player’s username.
- Type the username, then press the Add to Whitelist button.
Congratulations, your player has now been whitelisted. They will show up in the list as whitelisted.
Ban a Player
Currently Playing Method
- If the player is online, you can use the currently playing section.
- Locate the player in question and click the three dots.
- You will be greeted with many options. In this case, we have two different types of ban options:
- 1 Ban player - bans their username (their UUID specifically) from rejoining.
- 2 Ban IP - bans their IP address from rejoining.
- Depending on your preference, click either button. In this guide, we will showcase the Ban player option.
- 1 Type a reason for the ban.
- Click the 2 Confirm button.
- The player has now been banned.
Player Management Method
- Alternatively, you can use the Player management method.
- 1 Click the Banned button.
- 2 Click the + button.
- You will be prompted with a UI asking for the player’s username. Input the name, then press the Ban player button.
- Congratulations, your player is now banned. They will show up on the list as banned, with the reason why.
- If you do change your mind, you can unban the player by clicking the 3 Dots and then the Unban Player option.
Offline Player Management
Our Player Manager allows you to check every player who has joined your server in the past. With this, you can quickly ban/whitelist or give a player operator while also checking whether a player has previously joined.
