Enable Player Whitelist
In this guide, we will show you how to enable whitelisting on your Minecraft server. Detailed information about the feature can be found here.
Access Panel
- Login to the panel. See Access the Panel for instructions.
- Go to the 1 Servers tab.
- 2 Then, go into your server.
Navigate to Files
- Go into the 1 Files tab
- Locate and open the 2
server.properties
file.
Edit Config File
- 1 Now hit
ctrl+f
, typewhitelist
and press ENTER. - Scroll down to the 2
whitelist
line and edit it with the seed you would like, it can be numbers or text. true
: Whitelist is enabled.false
: Whitelist is disabled.- Finally, click 3 Save Content to save your changes to the file.
Console Usage
- Once you have enabled player whitelisting, you can add or remove specific players via the console.
- Navigate to the 1 Console and you can start using the whitelist.
- You can now type the command 2
whitelist add <playername>
orwhitelist remove <playername>
. - Make sure to replace
<playername>
with the name of the player.
Restart the Server
- Restart your server to make sure all changes can apply correctly.
