Server Splitter

This guide explains how to use Server Splitter to allocate resources and run multiple servers under one service.

Server Splitter is only available on plans above 8GB. At the current moment the Server Splitter is considered beta meaning there will be potential bugs despite extensive testing and certain things are subject to change. This means if you are on a 4GB plan, you will not see the Server Splitter option yet. Once you upgrade to a 8GB (or above) plan, the feature will unlock automatically and you will be able to split your resources to run multiple servers under the same service (based on the limits of your plan).

Log in to the Panel

Log in to the panel using the steps in the Access the Panel guide.
If you land on the Dashboard, open the service you want to split.
If you land on the Services list, select the service you want to split.

Create a Child Server

1 Open the Server Splitter tab to view the Resource Overview.
2 Click Create Child Server to open the server creation form.

1 Enter a server name.
2 Select a server type.
3 Input the allocation you want the server to have. The max the split server can have will be displayed. Please keep in mind that allocations refer to port allocations.
4 Decide if you wish for Subusers to have the same permissions they have on the parent server on your split server.
5 Click Create Server to create the child server.

After the child server is created, it should look like this:

Congratulations, you now have another server. Many users use the server-splitting feature to either host a database to help sync servers or to create a network that allows players to transfer between servers linked to it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Upgrade or Downgrade My Plan?

To avoid data loss, we recommend creating a backup and downloading anything important to your local device first.

Unfortunately, we only allow upgrades if the plan in question uses the server splitter, and we prevent downgrades until all the splits are deleted. This may be changed in the future, as the splitter is still in active beta.

What Are the Limitations?

Server splitter is available only on plans with 8GB or more, and we allow only 2 splits per plan. For best results, use the parent server as your backend server, and use child servers for supporting services such as your proxy and database (if needed).
