Archive and Unarchive Files

Backing up your data is an essential part of owning a game server as it ensures data can be restored in the event of accidental file deletion, corruption or simply wanting to restore a previous save.

Archive Files

Go to 1 Files tab.
2 Select all of the files and/or folders that you want to archive.
Click on the 3 Archive button.

Select the Compression Type: ZIP or TAR.GZ from the drop-down.

Entering Name of the archive is optional.
Toggle Overwrite if an archive with the same name exists and you want to replace it.
Click the Archive button to create the archive.

If no name was provided, the archive will be created in the current folder with a name like archive-2025-08-07T124818Z.tar.gz.

Unarchive Files

Click on the 1 ... menu to the right of the archived file.
Click on 2 Unarchive in the context menu.

Alternatively, 3 select the archive.
Click on 4 Unarchive at the bottom.

Toggle Overwrite if you want to replace existing files/folders with the same name.
Click the Unarchive button to unarchive it.
