OP Yourself on your Minecraft Server
In this guide, we will show you how to OP yourself on your Minecraft server. To OP yourself means to give yourself the Operator status on the server, also known as being an administrator. You will have the ability to run commands even when in survival mode and also have permission to ban and change other players in-game options.
Login to the Panel
- Login to the panel. See Access the Panel for instructions.
- Go to the 1 Servers tab.
- 2 Then, go into your server.
Navigate to Console
- Go into the 1 Console tab
- 2 Type
OP <playername>
into the console.
Confirm OP Status
- If the command worked, it should look like the below screenshot.
- If the command did not work, it will usually throw the error:
[INFO] that player doesn’t exist
, which means the player name entered is wrong.
