Change online-mode Setting
This guide shows you how to set the value of online-mode for your Minecraft server. Online-mode is a server setting that configures whether players authenticate through Minecraft account servers before connecting to your server. Understanding and adjusting the online-mode setting enables server administrators to manage player authentication effectively, ensuring server security and controlling access.
Access Panel
- Login to the panel. See Access the Panel for instructions.
- Go to the 1 Servers tab.
- 2 Then, go into your server.
Navigate to Files
- Go into the 1 Files tab.
- Locate and open the 2
server.propertiesfile.
Change the online-mode Value
- 1 Press
Ctrl+F, typeonline-modeand press Enter. - On the 2
online-mode=trueline, set the value totrueorfalse. true: Minecraft account authentication is enabled.false: Minecraft account authentication is disabled.- Finally, click 3 Save Content to save your changes to the file.
Restart the Server
- Restart your server to make sure all changes can apply correctly.
