Install Critters and Companions Mod
This guide will show you how to download the Critters and Companions mod and its dependencies. Please note, this mod also requires configuration on the client side.
Confirm Server Version
Download the Critters Mod
- Navigate to Critters and Companions on CurseForge.
- Now, click the Files tab at the top.
- Locate your desired Game Version AND server type (Forge or NeoForge) for this mod in the list.
- Once found, press the three dots on the right and click the Download file button.
Download the GeckoLib dependency
- Similarly to the steps above, navigate to GeckoLib CurseForge.
- Now, click the Files tab at the top.
- Locate your desired Game Version AND server type (Forge or Fabric or NeoForge) for this mod in the list.
- Once found again, press the three dots on the right and click the Download File button.
Access Server Files
- You can access your server files using the Files tab on the left-hand navigation bar.
- Your server files can also be accessed via SFTP. For instructions, see SFTP Transfer.
Upload Mod Files
- 1 Navigate to the
modsfolder in your server directory. If there is nomodsfolder, create one. - Click the 2 Upload button.
- 3 Select the downloaded
.jarfiles. - Click the 4 Open button to upload the files to the
modsfolder.
Restart the Server
- After uploading mod files, restart your server to activate the mod.
