Upload File via URL [LEGACY]

In this guide, we will explain the process of uploading a file to the File Manager via URL.

Certain files such as the ones without a "Content-Length" header may not be downloadable through the URL downloader.

Obtain the Link

Go to the website that provides the download link.
Right-click the download link / button to reveal the context menu, and click on the Copy Link / Copy Link Address option.

Upload the File

From the dashboard, go to the File Manager and click on the Import button.
Now, the URL that you previously copied, paste it into URL field.
In the File Name field, you can set a file name of your choice or use the original file name which most often can be found at the end of the URL.

Make sure the extension (such as .zip .rar .jar) is included in the File Name field, otherwise it may not function properly. The extension is often times present in the link itself, as demonstrated by the below images.

Next, click the Import File button.
The file will be automatically downloaded and added to the File Manager.
