Compress and Extract Files
Backing up your data is an essential part of owning a game server as it ensures data can be restored in the event of accidental file deletion, corruption or simply wanting to restore a previous save.
Compress Files
- Go to 1 Files tab.
- 2 Select all of the files and/or folders that you want to compress.
- Click on the 3 Archive button.
- The archived file will be automatically created in the current folder. It will have a name like
archive-2024-10-30T185327Z.tar.gz.
Extract Files
- Click on the 1
...menu to the right of the compressed file. - Click on 2 Unarchive in the context menu.
