Minecraft Failed to Verify Username Error

In this guide, we will demonstrate step-by-step how to resolve the Failed to Verify Username error in Minecraft using the UltraServers dashboard. This error typically arises when the Minecraft server cannot validate your username with the Minecraft authentication servers. By following these steps, you should be able to effectively fix this issue.

Access the UltraServers dashboard

The first step to resolving the Failed to Verify Username error is to access your dashboard.

Navigate to your Minecraft Server

Once you are logged into the UltraServers dashboard, navigate to the Minecraft server that is experiencing the Failed to Verify Username error.

Navigating to Overview

1 Click on the overview tab.
2 And then click on Miscellaneous.

Modify Online Mode Settings

Disable the Online mode setting if you do not know how, follow this guide.

Be aware that changing this option might increase the risk of unauthorized access to your server, as it allows cracked clients to join.

Save Changes and Restart the Server

1 After modifying the Online-mode setting, make sure to save your changes.
2 Then, restart your Minecraft server for the changes to take effect.

By setting online-mode to false, your server will no longer require username verification upon login, thereby resolving the “Failed to Verify Username” error. Please remember to exercise caution with this setting, as it does open the door for non, verified Minecraft accounts to connect to your server. For the highest level of security, only trusted users should be allowed to, connect to your server.

NOTE: Some plugins does NOT support cracked versions of minecraft, so please keep that in mind when disabling online-mode
