Fix Server Connection Timed Out Error
A step-by-step guide on troubleshooting your Minecraft server showing the “Server connection timed out” error. These methods are not guaranteed to work, but they are worth attempting before contacting support.
Access Panel
- Login to the panel. See Access the Panel for instructions.
Vanilla
Method 1: Restart Server
- Click the Restart Server button and wait for it to be online again.
- Finally, connect to your server in Minecraft.
Method 2: Use Direct Connection
- Log into your Minecraft account and navigate to the server list.
- Click the Direct Connection button.
- Copy your Minecraft server’s IP address from the panel.
- Then paste it into the Direct Connection field and press ENTER.
