Set the Default Gamemode
Sometimes you may want to have a gamemode pre-set other than survival when joining a server. This guide shows which configuration to change.
Access server.properties
- 1 Go to the Files section of your server.
- 2 Click on the
server.propertiesfile present in the file list.
Configure Gamemode
- 1 Locate the
gamemodeline in the file editor. You may change its value to one of the following game modes. survivalcreativeadventurespectator- 2 Click on the Save Content button to save the changes to the file.
- Restart your Minecraft server for the changes to apply.
