Reset the Nether in Minecraft Java Edition
This guide will show you step-by-step instructions on resetting the Nether in Minecraft Java Edition with the Vanilla version. The Nether is the second dimension in Minecraft and can be accessed via the main Overworld using a Nether Portal. Resetting the Nether in Minecraft Java Edition provides players with fresh terrain and resources to explore, enhancing their gaming experience.
Reset the Nether on Minecraft Vanilla
Navigate to Servers
- Login to the panel, see Access the Panel for instructions.
- From your Panel, go to the 1 Servers tab.
- 2 Then, go into your server.
Stop the Server
- Before deleting the world, it is recommended that the server be stopped to prevent weird errors from occurring.
- Click the 1 Stop button.
- Go to the 2 Files tab.
- Locate and open the 3
world
folder by clicking on it.
Delete the Folder
- Select the 1
DIM-1
directory. - Then, click on the 2 Delete button.
- Confirm the deletion of the
DIM-1
folder by clicking 3 Delete again.
Start the Server
- Scroll back to the top of the page.
- Then, click on the Start button.
Reset the Nether on Minecraft Paper
Navigate to Servers
- From your Panel, go to the 1 Servers tab.
- 2 Then, go into your server.
Stop the Server
- Before deleting the world, it is recommended that the server be stopped to prevent weird errors from occurring.
- 1 Click the Stop button.
Delete the Folder
- Go to the 2 Files tab.
- Select the 3
world_nether
folder. - Click the 4 Delete button.
- Please note that some configurations, such as anti-X-ray, might be reset by deleting this folder.
Start the Server
- Scroll back to the top of the page.
- Then, click on the Start button.
