Reset Player Data in Minecraft
Sometimes you may want to reset a player’s data. This document goes through how to identify the necessary file that has to be deleted to achieve that.
Find the player’s UUID
- 1 Go to the MCUUID website and enter the name of the player whose data you want to wipe.
- 2 Copy / Save the full UUID of the player. You will need this later.
Navigate to the player data folder
- 1 Go to the Files section of your server.
- 2 Navigate to the
world/playerdata/
folder.
Delete the file
- 1 Locate the file with the same UUID as the one previously copied from MCUUID.
- Expand the file options menu by clicking on the 2 … button.
- Delete the file by clicking on the 3 Delete button.
