Prevent Seed Cracking of your Minecraft World
This guide will go through the process of changing some settings that make it harder to seed crack your world.
Access Panel
- Login to the panel. See Access the Panel for instructions.
- Go to the 1 Servers tab.
- 2 Then, go into your server.
Modify Structure Seeds
- Click the Files tab in the navigation bar on the left-hand side.
- Locate and open the 1
spigot.ymlfile. - Changing the structure seeds will create structures like villages, swamps and so on in different positions within the same seed which will make it harder to crack.
- Randomly change some numbers in the 2 structure seed section, a single number being changed is enough.
- Click the 3 Save Content button to save the changes.
Change the Anti-Xray Mode
- Enabling Anti-Xray will create “visual” corruption that prevents Xray from being effective and simultaneously makes seed cracking harder.
- Open the 1
config/paper-world.defaults.ymlfile. - Set 2
enabledtotrue. - Change the 3
engine-modeto2. - Click the 4 Save Content button to save the changes.
Restart the Server
- Restart the server to apply the changes.
