Change the OP-color

This document will go through how to change the OP (server operators) color in Minecraft.

Select Color

• Use any online color picker to choose what the operator’s color should be and copy the 1 HEX code.

Navigate to Files

• Navigate to the panel of your server.
• Open the 1 Files tab.
• Navigate to the 2 plugins/Essentials folder.
• Open the 3 config.yml file.

Modify Config File

• Add the HEX code from the previous step into the 1 ops-name-color setting.
• Click on 2 Save Content to save the changes.
• Reboot the server.

Restart the Server

• Restart your server to make sure all changes can apply correctly.
