Change the OP-color

This document will go through how to change the OP (server operators) color in Minecraft.

Make sure EssentialsX is installed on the server as a plugin.

Select Color

Use any online color picker to choose what the operator’s color should be and copy the 1 HEX code.

Navigate to Files

Navigate to the panel of your server.
Open the 1 Files tab.
Navigate to the 2 plugins/Essentials folder.
Open the 3 config.yml file.

Modify Config File

Add the HEX code from the previous step into the 1 ops-name-color setting.
Click on 2 Save Content to save the changes.
Reboot the server.

Restart the Server

Restart your server to make sure all changes can apply correctly.
