Install a Modpack
In this guide, we will show you how to install Modpacks on your Minecraft server. Modpacks are a collection of different mods into one single pack. They are often hand-picked to deliver a certain gameplay theme. Modpacks are the only addition you can add to your game aside from Plugins. Servers can only use a Modpack OR a Plugin, not both. The following process should automatically change the server type for you.
Login to the Panel
- Login to the panel, see Access the Panel for instructions.
- Once in your Inventory, go to the server you would like to edit.
Install Modpack
- Go to the 1 Modpacks tab. A list of Modpacks will load up.
- 2 Select your preferred provider.
- 3 Search for the modpack that you wish to install.
- Click on the 4 Install button.
- Select the 1 Modpack version you want to install, which in most cases is the default one that comes pre-selected.
- Enable the 2 Delete files toggle to ensure the server gets wiped prior to the installation, otherwise it may not install properly.
- Click on 3 Install modpack. This will automatically install and configure everything necessary to run the server.
- The installation may take a few minutes, after which the server can be started.
Restart Server
- The installation may take up to a few minutes to finish.
- Once the installation is complete, you can go back and start your Minecraft server.
