While setting up a Garry's Mod server is generally straightforward, you may encounter some issues. Here are a few common problems and their solutions:
- Server Not Showing Up in the List: If your server is not appearing in the in-game server list, ensure that you have correctly entered the server IP address. Additionally, check if the server is online and if the required ports are open.
- Connection Issues: If players are having trouble connecting to your server, verify that they are using the correct IP address or server name. Also, ensure that the server has enough available slots for players to join.
- Performance Issues: If you experience lag or performance issues on your server, consider allocating more resources or optimizing your server settings. You can also try disabling unnecessary addons or mods to improve performance.
